Trigger Next Sdn Bhd (the “Company”) value your privacy. This Privacy Policy informs you of decision about whether to use or continue using the DotDotPlus mobile application (the “DotDotPlus”), www.dotdotplus.com (the “DotDotPlus Site”) and DotDotPlus Service. If you do not agree to our practices, please do not use the DotDotPlus, the DotDotPlus Site and the DotDotPlus Service.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the Company Terms of Use. Your use of the DotDotPlus Site, the DotDotPlus, the DotDotPlus Service and any personal information you provide on the DotDotPlus Site, the DotDotPlus, or the DotDotPlus Service remains subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Company Terms of Use.

By using DotDotPlus Site, the DotDotPlus and the DotDotPlus Service, you agree that the Company may collect, use and share your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as revised from time to time.

1. Privacy Policy Cover

This Privacy Policy is part of the Company Terms of Use and covers the treatment of user information, including personally identifying information, obtained by the Company, including information obtained when you access the DotDotPlus Site, the DotDotPlus, use the DotDotPlus Service or any other software provided by the Company.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that the Company does not own or control, or to individuals whom the Company does not employ or manage, including any of the third parties to which the Company may disclose user information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

2. Modification of the Privacy Policy

The Company may from time to time revise or add specific instructions, policies and terms to this Privacy Policy. These instructions, policies and terms form part of this Privacy Policy.

The modification will become effective once the modified Privacy Policy are posted on an appropriate location within the website operated by the Company.

You will be deemed to have granted valid and irrevocable consent to the modified Privacy Policy by continuing to use the DotDotPlus, the DotDotPlus Site or the DotDotPlus Service. You may refer to the Privacy Policy on regular basis when using the DotDotPlus, the DotDotPlus Site and the DotDotPlus Service since a separate notification regarding the modification to the Privacy Policy may not be provided.

3. What Information the DotDotPlus Collects?

The DotDotPlus may obtain the following types of information from or concerning you or your mobile phone device, which may include information that can be used to identify you as specified below (“Personally Identifying Information”):

User Provided Information:

You provide certain Personally Identifiable Information, such as your mobile phone number, display name, date of birth, country, billing information (if applicable) and mobile device information to the DotDotPlus when choosing to participate in various uses of the DotDotPlus Service, such as registering as a DotDotPlus user, updating your User Profiles Data or requesting status for your contacts. In order to provide the DotDotPlus Service, the DotDotPlus will periodically access your address book or contact list on your mobile phone to locate the mobile phone numbers of other DotDotPlus users (“Registered Phone Numbers”). You can have option to disable the periodically access to your address book or contact list on your mobile phone in the DotDotPlus setting. However, the DotDotPlus may not able to discover any later Registered Phone Numbers as soon as you have disable the function.

Location Information:

When you use the DotDotPlus Site or the DotDotPlus Service, our servers will collect regarding your location (when you use a location-enabled services), including the location of your device when you use the DotDotPlus Service. The Location Information is using to deliver localized contents and relevant contents to you, or any other features of DotDotPlus that required location information.

Contact Information:

When you use the DotDotPlus Site or the DotDotPlus Service, our servers will collect regarding your contacts (when you have permitted to access your mobile device contact information) regularly. The contact information is using to add another DotDotPlus user in DotDotPlus Site or DotDotPlus Service as “Friend”. DotDotPlus Site or DotDotPlus Service do not store this information or use it for other purposes. The contact information will be disposed once it is used.

Cookies Information:

When you visit the DotDotPlus Site, we may send one or more cookies – a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. The DotDotPlus Site uses both session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser. Your browser may use persistent cookies on subsequent visit to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser help file directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, the DotDotPlus Site may not function properly if the ability to accept cookie is disabled.

Log File Information:

When you use the DotDotPlus Site or the DotDotPlus Service, our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser or DotDotPlus Web Client (the “In-app Browsing”) sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser language, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time of your request, one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, your DotDotPlus identity, DotDotPlus identify that you are requesting the status of and various status information. When you use the DotDotPlus Service, our servers log certain general information that our application sends whenever a message is sent or received, your last connected to server time and date stamps, your online status, or if you update or request any status information, including time and date stamps and the DotDotPlus identities the message were sent from and to.

4. The Information the DotDotPlus Does Not Collect

The DotDotPlus does not collect emails, addresses or other contact information from its users’ mobile address book or contact lists other than mobile phone numbers and names – the DotDotPlus will associate whatever name set in his/her mobile address book or contact list to DotDotPlus added account as User Alias. The User Alias is for the purpose of identification in which you can modify the User Alias later on the User Profile Screen.

The contents of messages that have been delivered by the DotDotPlus Service are not copied, kept or achieved by DotDotPlus in the normal course of business. Users type their messages, which are sent via data service (either via cell network or Wi-Fi) to our servers, and routed to intended recipient (who must also be a DotDotPlus user), if that recipient is online. If the recipient is not online, the undelivered message is held in DotDotPlus’s server until it can be delivered. If the message is undelivered for sixty (60) days, the undelivered message is deleted from our servers. Once a message has been delivered, it no longer resides on our servers. The contents of any delivered messages are not kept or retained by DotDotPlus – the only records of the content of any delivered messages reside directly on the sender’s and recipient’s mobile devices (and which may be deleted at the user’s option). Files that are sent through the DotDotPlus Service will reside on our servers after delivery for fourteen (14) days, but are deleted and stripped of any identifiable information within fourteen (14) days.

5. Sensitive Personal Information

In some jurisdictions, certain Personal Information, such as information about your race or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical views or personal health, is characterized as “sensitive” and is subject to stricter regulation than other personal information. Please note that content and information that you input to the DotDotPlus Service, such as photographs or information about your school or social activities, may reveal your sensitive Personal Information to others.

We urge you to consider whether it is appropriate to communicate Personal Information of a sensitive nature in the manner you are proposing to communicate it using DotDotPlus Service.

6. How the DotDotPlus Use Your Information

If you submit Personally Identifiable Information to us through the DotDotPlus Site, or the DotDotPlus Service, then we use your personal information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the DotDotPlus Site and DotDotPlus Service. In particular, your mobile phone number is essential to your use of the DotDotPlus Service and will be retained. Any Personally Identifiable Information or status content that you voluntarily disclose on the DotDotPlus Service becomes publicly available and may be collected and used by other users of the DotDotPlus Service (unless such user is blocked by you). Your name (as it is saved in other user’s mobile phone address book or contact list or the display name you set) may be displayed to other users when you update your status messages through the DotDotPlus Service and other users may contact you through the DotDotPlus Service. Your other User Profile Data may be displayed to other users when you update your User Profile Data through the DotDotPlus Service unless you block the user.

We do not use your mobile phone number or other Personally Identifiable Information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. We may, however, use your mobile phone number (or email address, if provided) without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major DotDotPlus Site or DotDotPlus Service changes or for customer service purposes). We may use both your Personally Identifiable Information and certain non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous user usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.) to improve the quality and design of the DotDotPlus Site and DotDotPlus Service and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, and analyzing user preferences and trends. We may use cookies and log file information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you use the DotDotPlus Service or DotDotPlus Site; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor individual and aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.; and (d) track your entries, submissions, views and such.

7. When the DotDotPlus Discloses Information

Other users of the DotDotPlus Service may see your Status Submissions once you have approved his/her add request. They will be able to see your status information and other User Profile Data unless you have chosen to block such user. “Last Seen” information is available and displayed to each user who has granted approval on his/her add request (and which you have not blocked), and reflects the last approximate time the DotDotPlus mobile application has been used or brought to the foreground on your mobile phone. “Last Seen” information is reported to DotDotPlus Server when a user brings the mobile application to the foreground.

We do not sell or share your Personally Identifiable Information (such as mobile phone number) with other third-party companies for their commercial or marketing use without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. We may share your Personally Identifiable Information with third party service providers to the extend that it is reasonably necessary to perform, improve or maintain the DotDotPlus Service. We may share non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous User usage data, referring / exit pages and URLs, Platform types, asset views, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third-parties to assist them in understanding the usage patterns for certain content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality on the DotDotPlus Site and DotDotPlus Service.

DotDotPlus also reserves the right to disclose Personally Identifiable Information and/or non-personally-identifiable information that DotDotPlus believes, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to enforce our Terms of Use, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend itself against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, to protect the security or integrity of the DotDotPlus Site or our servers, and to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of DotDotPlus, our users or others.

8. Communications From DotDotPlus

When you use the DotDotPlus Service, we may use your information to send you emails, or push notifications to your device. If you no longer wish to receive these communications, you can do so by opting out of notifications at the device level (if available) or contact us via email to support at triggernext.com

We may from time to time send you service-related announcements when we consider it necessary to do so (such as when we temporarily suspend one of our services for maintenance). You may not opt-out of these service-related announcements, which are not promotional in nature.

9. Your Choices

You may, of course, decline to submit Personally Identifiable Information through the DotDotPlus Site or the DotDotPlus Service, in which case DotDotPlus may not be able to provide certain services to you. If you do not agree with our Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, please delete your account, uninstall the DotDotPlus mobile application and discontinue use of the DotDotPlus Service; you continued usage of the DotDotPlus Service would signify your assent to and acceptance of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as SMS authentication in certain cases) to verify your identity before registering your mobile phone number and granting you access to the DotDotPlus Service. Please contact DotDotPlus via email to support at triggernext.com with any questions or comments about this Privacy Policy, your personal information, your consent, or your opt-in or opt-out choices.

10. Data Security

DotDotPlus uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to DotDotPlus and you do so at your own risk. Using unsecured Wi-Fi or other unprotected networks to submit messages through the DotDotPlus Service is never recommended. Once we receive your transmission of information, DotDotPlus makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. If DotDotPlus learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. DotDotPlus may post a notice on the DotDotPlus Site or through the DotDotPlus Service if a security breach occurs.

If you use third-party software integrated into the DotDotPlus (for example, Google Drive) your information will be handled by such third-party and we cannot assure you that such information will be handled in a secure manner.

11. Google API Services Usage Disclosure

DotDotPlus’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you connect the DotDotPlus to apps or services provided by Google, certain Customer Data may be collected from your device by Google. This data may be collected automatically through the use of application programming interfaces such as the Google API Services.
